- 1st Annual Hamel 14-13 AA ‘non-sanctioned’ Baseball Tournament a Success
I would like to thank the eight tournament teams for their participation in our Baseball tournament on May 31st –June 1st. .The weather cooperated with our schedule and each team was able to get four games in. The four Hamel teams as well as the out of town teams all expressed how they really enjoyed playing in the tournament and the fact that they were able to play four games.
Our Hamel teams all did well with Mike Tabery’s team finishing in second place with a tough loss to an experienced Loretto team in extra innings (2).
Duane Sathers team finished third with a win over Kevin Sullivans team and Greg DeVos’s team finished fifth with a win over Corcoran. Howard Lake and Hutchinson played in the seventh place game.
I want to thank all the volunteers who helped make this tournament a success. Your time is truly appreciated. We look forward to future possible tournaments and wish all the participating teams good luck for the rest of the season.

- The Hamel 14 AA Tournament team placed second in the Marshall 14 AA tournament on June 6th-8th.

Marshall 14 AA baseball tournament.
This qualifies the team to play in the MSF State tournament July 25-July 27th.
